The artist (Kei Matsuda) pulls off this art style nicely. The place does look like a street cafe you'd find in Europe and the detail on the background is minor but adds to the art.
The art style is simple, the people are drawn more deformed and short but captures their actions well.
The old man in the foreground makes for a good perspective point-of-view.
Overall I love the way the art captures the ambiance of a cafe/bar and the way the simple gestures by the characters can tell you a story. Light hearted piece that simply shows friends getting together.
