After that i'll have a friend play the same game and see his reaction and then compare it to mine.
My choice Game will be : Melty Blood by Ecole/Type-moonMelty Blood is a fighting game (those who don't know, think street fighter)that revolves around the Tsukihime universe.
The game mainly revolves around the stories of each character during a phenomenon known as "The Night of Warachia" in which a vampire known as Warachia appears with the power to grant physical shape to the fears and rumours that circulate within a community.
The gameplay is basic for a fighting game. You have your usual commands (e.g: quarter-circle,half circle, dragon punch).
For those familiar to the genre, good for you.
For those who don't,the commands are a set of commands that trigger a special move for the character.
The game has a system that allows players to store up to 300% meter, for various uses such as EX Attacks (high-powered versions of special techniques) and the Heat and Blood Heat modes. These modes allow players to regenerate a portion of their lifebar, as well as allow access to their character's ultimate attacks, known as Arc-Drives and Last Arcs. All of these techniques consume Magic Circuit, which is accumulated by attacking your opponent, and to a lesser degree, successfully defending against your opponent. Magic Circuit carries over between rounds.
Something that is unique to this game is "Shielding"
A high-risk/reward technique which eliminates the damage and 'block-stun' from an attack. Activated by a button press, it requires exact timing to 'deflect' the opponent's attack, thus exposing them to a counter attack. However, if mis-timed, an EX-Shield attempt leaves the player extremely vulnerable. In the later versions of the game, a Last Arc is performed by Ex-Shielding while in "Blood Heat.
